Aion 4.0 General Patch Notes
Part 1
"Aion 4.0" expansion will be split into 3 major "updates/parts" –
Part 1 went live on 20th December; part 2 on 16th January 2013 (with Bard class); part 3 around end of 1st Q of 2013 (with Raider class).
Today we bring you the newest Aion 4.0 part 1. It mainly focus on level cap increase to 65, new zones, skills, items, instances, new forst and the new "Gunner" class.

Part 2
Aion 4.0 2nd part was introduced to Korean PTS and is schedule to be released on live servers on 16th January 2013. Aion 4.0 part 2 includes the second new class – Bard and 5 new instances!
Part 3
New Aion 4.0 part 3 "Invasion" update has been implemented on Korean Test Servers. It introduced 5 new instance into the game, new items as well as party voice service, viewing screenshots in-game. And no, Raider class is not yet included.

Aion 4.0 New Region Preview - Northern Katalam [2012-12-25]
Aion 4.0 patch will introduce two new zones – one of them is Northern Katalam. Please Click the maps for a full size.
Few facts:
1. Asmodians and Elyos have theirs own separated leveling "paths"
2. There are several windstreams which allows easy travel between distant regions
3. Region/sub-zones laying on the “borders” of the zone are PvP free, PvP concentrate in the center of the zone (fortresses, base takeovers ect.)
4. In the southern part of the zone there are 4 passages to Southern Katalam zone
